Thermosensitive cargoes of animal or vegetable origin are accepted for transportation in the presence of a certificate or veterinary certificate, which is accompanied by a stamped and signed authorization mark of a specialist in the consignor's application form.
Acceptance for transportation of temperature-sensitive cargoes (chilled and deep-frozen cargoes) without documents confirming its quality is prohibited.
When delivering heat-sensitive cargoes to the warehouse, the consignor must comply with the following conditions:
- cargo packaging must ensure safety during transportation, as well as the safety of the cargo at the point of destination;

- "Top" sign must be located on two opposite sides of the package;
- a "Temperature" sign indicating the optimum storage temperature and writing on the cargo package "Store at xx°C - xx°C";
- it is necessary to additionally use "Wet cargo" for "wet cargo";
- packages with refrigerated cargoes, deep-frozen cargoes (products of plant and animal origin, except medicines!) shall bear the sign "Perishable cargo", an example of which is given in Annex 13 of this standard.
The consignor shall provide necessary information on transportation and storage of temperature-sensitive cargo both in the Consignor's Application and in the airway bill in the column "Information on cargo handling", and on the package of each piece of cargo in the consignment requiring special handling conditions.
Good quality chilled cargoes, cargoes sensitive to positive temperatures and deep frozen cargoes are accepted for transportation, which must be accompanied by documents to confirm the preservation of their properties during transportation.
Perishable cargo is accepted for transportation and handled in accordance with IATA Perishable Cargo Regulations (PCR).
