Pre-flight inspection
When staying in the security zone of Mirny Airport it is necessary to comply with aviation and transportation security requirements.
Passengers, hand luggage and baggage are inspected in order to detect items and substances prohibited for air transportation.
The pre-flight inspection procedure is mandatory for all passengers and is conducted after check-in.
All passengers and their hand luggage are inspected during the pre-flight inspection. Prohibited items are confiscated.
Remember: in hand luggage you can not take stabbing and cutting objects, liquids in a package of more than 100 ml, more than a liter of liquids per person. Before the start of the flight, there is a mandatory check on metal detectors.
Passengers of charter flights are inspected on general grounds. At intermediate airports transit passengers are not inspected again if after leaving the aircraft they were in the sterile zone (an isolated place for waiting for boarding by passengers who have passed the inspection) before boarding.
Hand baggage and luggage carried by a passenger is inspected only in the passenger's presence.
If it is suspected that the baggage contains dangerous substances and items prohibited for transportation on civil aircraft, the baggage may be inspected in the absence of the passenger.
Baggage inspection in the absence of a passenger, which involves the need to open the baggage, is carried out by a commission by decision of the head of aviation security or his/her deputy and is documented in a report.
Transportation of baggage and hand luggage of passengers who have not shown up for boarding is strictly prohibited.
If a passenger's departure is unreasonably delayed due to an inspection, airline officials are obliged to take all necessary measures to ensure that the passenger is sent on the next flight.
If a passenger refuses to fly or to continue the flight due to a delay in departure caused by an inspection, the airline is obliged to reimburse the cost of the ticket or its unused part in full at his/her request.
If a passenger refuses the inspection, the carrier has the right to terminate the contract of transportation by air.

- at the entrance to the inspection point, present your ticket, boarding pass and identification document;
- follow the requirements of the aviation security specialist;
- place all your items, outer clothing, belts, hand luggage in baskets and place them on the moving belt of the X-ray television machine;
- place liquids and electronic devices separately;
- pass through the stationary metal detector;
- retrieve your belongings and proceed to the waiting room storage area.
In order to ensure aviation safety, passengers are prohibited from carrying the following dangerous items and substances on their person or in their baggage:
- explosives, explosive devices and objects filled with them;
- compressed and liquefied gases;
- flammable liquids, flammable solids;
- radioactive materials;
- organic oxidizers-peroxides, bleaches;
- toxic and poisonous substances;
- caustic and corrosive substances.
Weapons, ammunition and special means of passengers are withdrawn for the duration of the flight according to the act by the employee performing pre-flight inspection and are given out at the airport of arrival.
Items that can be used as weapons to attack the crew or passengers (axes, ice axes, pneumatic rifles and pistols, spearfishing guns, knives and other civilian stabbing and cutting objects, household aerosols of any type) are carried in baggage checked in at check-in.
