Oversized baggage
Oversized baggage in the weight-based baggage check-in system - dimensions in the sum of three dimensions exceed 203 cm.
Oversized baggage is accepted for carriage provided that the dimensions of loading hatches and baggage and cargo compartments of the aircraft allow its loading (unloading) into (from) the aircraft and placement on board the aircraft.
Please note that each airline sets the criteria for oversized baggage independently, depending on the characteristics of the aircraft performing the transportation.
If you are planning to carry oversized or excess baggage, in order to avoid disputable situations at the airport, we recommend you to contact the airline's representative office in advance to clarify the baggage allowance and, if necessary, to check it in a timely manner.
Place of delivery of oversized baggage. After checking in the oversized baggage, the DIS agent directs the passenger to the oversized baggage area (to the left of the check-in desks).
Receipt of oversized baggage is carried out in the baggage reclaim hall. Oversized baggage is not transported on a belt, but is put out by airport personnel in the baggage claim area.
