Packing
Cargo transported by aircraft shall have proper tare and packaging complying with applicable standards and specifications. The packaging shall correspond to the nature of the cargo in terms of its characteristics.
The packaging of cargo to be transported must be dry and clean, free of sharp protrusions and other things that could contaminate or damage the baggage and cargo compartments of aircrafts and their equipment, as well as other cargo.
Metal, glass, ceramic, wooden, plastic and other containers in which cargoes in liquid aggregate state or in loose form to be transported by air are packed (filled) must be hermetically sealed, withstand internal overpressure depending on flight altitude and temperature fluctuations and completely exclude the possibility of leakage, spillage or scattering of contents.
Cargoes whose packaging does not meet the above requirements are not allowed for transportation by air transport
It is prohibited to load on board the aircraft disassembled cargo items (including europallets with cargo), which are formed into one cargo item according to the labeling and the issued mail/cargo manifest.
