— The traditional first question. How did you end up at ALROSA IT?
— My first place of work was the Mirny Geological Exploration Expedition. However, I didn't go there as a geologist, but in my specialty - "Networks and Switching Communications" - in the automation department. I worked there for four years, and then I joined ALROSA IT, in the portal solutions department. Now this division is responsible for the support of ITSM systems, DCO and all the other individual portals of ALROSA.
— Now what is the task?
— The task changed dramatically. Before that I was involved in programming switching equipment, but here I was tasked with uploading reports from the database, creating different dashboards and setting them up. Dashboard is a dashboard that visualizes, explains and analyzes some data. In other words, a beautiful and user-friendly showcase. I create such showcases so that people don't have to go into databases and manually search for information.
